IACT Coordinator Escoll Family Initiative for Israel Engagement
Jacob is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Eugene, Oregon shortly before high school. A graduate of the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Political Science, his life was transformed following the Hillel Birthright trip that he took in the summer of 2014. Inspired by his experience, Jacob changed his major from Digital Arts to Political Science with a focus on the Middle East. In 2015, he returned to Israel and spent the summer with an internship exploring his passion for alternative energy with a company in Tel Aviv through Onward Israel.
In his free time Jacob enjoys feeding his coffee addiction and doing anything outside--hiking, ultimate frisbee, fishing, etc. On Saturdays and Sundays you can find him yelling at the TV as he roots on the Oregon Ducks and Cleveland Browns. Other then that, he enjoys watching movies (especially animation) and reading graphic novels.
Interested in learning about Israel or how you can get over there soon? Jacob's always down to grab coffee, walk down a trail, or pore over the politics with you.
